<p>The final month of Winter has greeted us. A month that intuitively feels like an opportunity to start to gather the learnings, growth, and reflect on what you have let go of over the last two months. A final pruning opportunity for you!<br></p>



<p>And very naturally, as you create space to contemplate, you are also simultaneously creating space to bring more of what’s good and BEST for you in your life.</p>



<p>I encourage you to sit with the below questions and write your responses down to assist you in this reflection practice.&nbsp;<br></p>



<p><em>What have you released for GOOD?</em></p>



<p><em>Where do you feel a little lighter in your life compared to how you were feeling back in June?</em></p>



<p><em>Where have you applied your ‘no’s’ more often than usual?</em></p>



<p><em>What strategies, resources, people, and environments have supported your new becoming? What ones have you let go of?</em></p>

<p>Knowing Spring is around the corner; a season of seeds starting to grow and gain momentum, new life coming into form, and liveliness starting to build &#8211; ENJOY these final weeks of the solitude season.<br><br><strong>My suggestions: </strong></p>



<p>Take it slow.<br>Be SUPER kind to yourself.<br>Bring more tenderness into your day.<br>Savour the pauses.<br>Embrace simply BEING here now, and</p>



<p>Celebrate all the good that has come into your life since the start of Winter (remember it is the simple things that matter most).&nbsp;<br></p>

<p>July has arrived with many insights and opportunities for new beginnings after a big few months collectively and in many individual lives (yipeee!)</p>



<p>&nbsp;The energy is calling for us to deepen our connection to self, to Earth, and to our true inner desires.&nbsp;</p>



<p>This is SOUL work. It requires you to&nbsp;<strong>create space&nbsp;</strong>to explore what you deeply need and&nbsp;<strong>allow&nbsp;</strong>your feelings to be seen, accepted, and let in so they can move through you.&nbsp;</p>



<p>Once you feel clearer, it is then time to&nbsp;<strong>take action.&nbsp;</strong>This might look like scheduling time to spend more time outside, dedicating yourself to a morning ritual of meditation and breath, or reaching out to those humans who uplift you!</p>



<p>My tip: be open to where you&#8217;re called and leave judgment or expectations at the door. Embrace your deeper human nature in all of its forms and colours &#8211; if its from LOVE, it is all welcome.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Change is in the air for many of us. I mean, we are always changing and growing, that is part of our nature of being human. However, there are times in our lives when significant changes happen.&nbsp;</p>



<p>It may be a sudden change in career direction, home location, friendships and relationships, health, or even internal shifts in thought and habits.&nbsp;</p>



<p>More commonly than not, we humans tend to &#8216;hold on&#8217; to ways of being, seeing, and living out of fear and wanting (<em>not</em> &#8216;<em>needing</em>&#8216;) certainty.&nbsp;</p>



<p>It takes time to build the muscle to <em>&#8216;let go&#8217; </em>and <em>allow </em>change to happen naturally without trying to control outcomes in our lives.&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>A few tips that help me stay in this energy during change include:</strong>&nbsp;</p>



<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Creating space in my schedule to sit with myself, particularly outside on land to cultivate stillness and strength within. </li>



<li>Becoming attuned to where my mind tries to take me in each moment. Anchoring back into my breath and heart when I notice my mind is not present in the now. </li>



<li>Upping the amount of time I spend doing things that light me up. I have been playing more soothing music and dancing in my living room moreso lately!  </li>
</ul>



<p><em>Remember, caring for yourself gives you strength and power, which is especially needed during times of uncertainty and change!</em>&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Become aware of the &#8216;old&#8217; stories you have been telling yourself &amp; take steps to write a new story</strong>&nbsp;</p>



<p>The old stories we hold in our conscious and subconscious minds can keep us trapped in a state of stagnancy, bitterness, dis-ease, and low vibration. &nbsp;</p>



<p>I have personally caught myself in these cycles during periods of growth in my life, where the old patterns and ways of thinking try to keep me stuck.&nbsp;</p>



<p>From an evolutionary perspective, this is valid given our brain has one main job &#8211; to keep us safe and alive. It is no wonder when we stretch ourselves into trying new things, or BE in a different vibration, our brains try to creep in and keep us &#8216;small&#8217;.&nbsp;</p>



<p>There are a few main strategies I draw on during these cycles of growth which include the following:&nbsp;</p>



<p><strong>Awareness</strong>: create &#8216;pause&#8217; moments in your day to notice what thoughts your mind is telling you, what is repeating? where is your focus going? Then shift this state into &#8216;courage&#8217;. Courage to take steps towards what is important to you.</p>



<p><strong>Present moment</strong>: from a place of awareness, anchor yourself back into the present moment. You can do this by taking a deep belly and heart breath (the center of your chest). Do 3 of these breaths in the belly and heart. </p>



<p><strong>Movement</strong>: when our minds are active, it is a sign to balance out the energy and help move it along by moving your body! Strength training or dancing are some of my favourite movement exercises. Connect to what works for you and your strengths.</p>



<p></p>



<p>Remember, that being in the present, not the past, is how you write a new story!&nbsp;</p>
